| i bought the lower from an FFL transferer. Its marked multi-caliber. Its never been built on ... could i add the 9mm parts and convert it to a pistol. I have 3 other Ars in the safe ...does that make any difference. |

how was it called in on the 4473 form, as a pistol or as a rifle ? Having a stripped lower and other ARs is fine, it's when you have an AR upper with a barrel under 16" with no permanent attachments that bring it over 16" and no pistol or SBR lower to put it on. Then things could go a bit pear shaped for you on the offchance that the BATFE came knocking. |
