All the pistols I see have the buffer tube.  I bought an oa-93.  Doesn't have one.   It was not cheap.  Anybody wanna give me comparisons.  This thing shoots great.  I have an eotech holo scope on it right now, but it's hard to hold and shoot.  Makes me want a butt-stock.  Should I get a crimson trace and shoot from the hip.  Seems to be the only comfortable thing to do.  Bump-firing - haven't got that down yet either.

Bump fire isn't too difficult.

Instructions assume right-handedness:
Hold the forearm of the weapon really firmly with your left hand.  This will be where nearly all of the recoil is going to go, so it is important.  Very, very loosely hold the pistol grip.  Try not to actually touch the grip, but keep your hand circled around it.  In case it starts to get a little wiley, this will help keep you from spraying a 60 degree cone of supersonic death.  Aim down at the ground about 20 feet ahead of you (until you learn how to bump and control it well).  Make your trigger finger very rigid and pull the weapon forward with your left arm while keeping your trigger finger as still as possible.  This is the basic technique.

The real 'trick' is learning just how hard to pull the weapon.  Too much and you will get a single shot.  Not enough and you'll end up off the trigger.  Just right and you'll get ba-ba-ba-ba-ba-ba-ba-ba-etc.  Ideally, you should be cycling about 600+ rpm.  If you are getting a relatively spaced-out string, you still haven't found just the right amount of pressure to maintain.

The OA-93 is a unique pistol.  That tube above the barrel is the "buffer tube" so to speak.  It performs the same function as the buffer tube on most ARs.  I'd love to have one myself.

My suggestion to you is to get a GOOD QUALITY single-point sling (like Gear Sector or BlackHawk).  You attach the sling to the rear of the pistol, tight to the body, with just enough slack to push the pistol AWAY from you and have it tight, similar to where a rifle would be.

If done correctly, the sling itself actually provides somewhat of a cheek rest when aiming.  It takes out most of the muzzle flip and makes for a much more accurate shooter.

Another option would be the $100 Noveske KX3 muzzle device.

Your third option (depending on your State laws) would be to spend the $200 to get an SBR tax stamp for that puppy.  Then you could have a Gunsmith drill and tap the rear for the ACE folding mechanism and put any ACE or AR15 stock you want on there...

Friend of mine has one. It is a hoot to shot and works flawless.

It would be sweet to SBR ($200 tax stamp) it!!

Thanks all!  Just home from the grind, and I'm checking out those slings right now.  Curious about the muzzle device.

The bump-firing advice is all new to me.  But I don't know if I can afford 600 rpm - 3 seconds a month is more likely.hinking.gif
