| Has any body had any problems with frangible ammo out of your .223 AR pistol. I am having a tumbling issue. With the muzzle brake on it hits it on the bottom before it exits and is completely sideways at 7yrds. With out the brake it seems to have a yaw a little bit, slightly elongated hole. It only seems to do to with frangible ammo. Any help would be greatly appreciated. |
Obviously the twist rate is too slow for the given barrel length... For example, a 1:9 twist in a 7" barrel just *MIGHT* under-stabilize some rounds... |

I use Federal .223 REM 42 grain BallistiClean Close Quarters Training Compressed Copper. The Only problems I have with this ammo is sometimes it does not have enough power to lock the bolt to the rear on the last round (sometimes). As for your ammo I dont have any experience with it. |
Is it this stuff? LINK TO PIC If so, you might want to look at the ammoman site or call them for more info. |
