I had another post saying that I had some problems with the bolt carrier not going all the way to battery (forward) I had a buddy shot it yesterday and I noticed the bolt  carrier stoping 1/8 inch shy on every 5 to 8 rounds.

When I cleaned yesterday I also noticed the bolt wasnt as tight as in my AR-15. Seems the 3 rings are not as wide as my ar? Well put the bolt back together and it was really easy to slide the bolt forward.  I could hold the bolt carrier and jerk the bolt so it would be extended.

Is this all normal for a new pistol? Also the inside of the carrier isnt bare like my AR, its blued.

Also wolf ammo in the pistol sucks. One round fired and got stuck in the chamber, pulled the bolt back and the primmer was popped out and rattling in my mag.

Thanks for any help

Out of spec gas rings maybe?Did you do the build yourself if so what  parts did you use?,I run an ACE setup on one build,anR&B Precision on one,and the BushMaster Carbon 15 buffer on my other two builds, zero problems all,you said the carrier inside was blued, thats wierd all my bolt carriers are Bushy or DELTON and they are parkerized, exept where the bolt goes in it is chromed inside on all, what buffer setup and upper are you running?,as for that popped primer Ive had it happen on M855 , XM193 & WOLFhappens thousands of rounds through all my pistol and rifle builds,Sounds like its short stroking, give us a little more info on your pistol, hopefully we can help youhope.

The Gas Rings should always be staggered.

If your Chamber is NOT Chrome Lined - you may want to polish it before shooting a lot of
steel cased ammo.

If this is an all new parts build , lube it up with some CLP until everything grts broken in.
