Anyone have experience with Radical upper? Have been looking at AA's real deal uppers but seen the Radical uppers on Primary Arms site.
ETA: I didn't find much on this round but way too much bad press from them on other things. I'll pass for now. |

I bought my upper through Alexander Arms. I probably could have found it cheaper, but I didn't feel like doing the search.
AA has plenty of information on the round as do other sources, including here, especially if you search under .50 BEOWULF, instead of 12.7 x 42. |

Radical is selling "12.7x42" uppers, Primary Arms has them on sale right now. Nobody really has experience with the .50 Radical uppers yet, but they don't have a great reputation overall.. http://www.primaryarms.com/radical-firearms-16-12-7x42mm-upper-receiver-group-rfupper16-12-7x42-12fhr http://www.primaryarms.com/radical-firearms-10-5-12-7x42mm-upper-receiver-group-rfupper10-5-12-7x42-9fhr |

I have a Radical Firearms 10" 7.62x39 upper, no issues, no complaints. Worked right out of the box and at 25 yards shoots as accurately as my PSA 16" 7.62x39 upper. $210 from AIM Surplus plus another $100 for an AIM BCG. At that price point I'm satisfied.
I've heard some issues with their .458 SOCOM upper but most complaints are the fact it's not the 'true' .458 SOCOM chamber specs. There are other makers out there using the same chamber reamer with the same problems. |
