Magpul announced their buffer tubes not long ago. I don't frequent their industry thread, so if this has been duped from there, oh well?
I'm ordering the SR25/M110 version for my Armalite. I really just want the 10 position adjustments. That's the only benefit i see. That ever lube gimmicky stuff doesn't sell for me. I still oil my buffer components. Anyways, just giving heads up to people building 308s. Quality option, I'm thinking will be strictly controlled so less likely to have odd ball length tubes. Maybe this can help alleviate those chewing up their lowers with the bcg? Worth a shot in my book. I have zero issues with my Armalite gear, so I'll post back after i get in my hands. |

I have the Armalite tube which is just 6 position. I really want it in between the 3rd and 4th spot. The SR25 tube will give me that spot. That's what makes it enhanced. Not sure if they're doing anything different for the buffer retention pin, i haven't seen any pictures of that portion yet. I'm guessing that's a slot cut, which makes it more captured?
60$ ain't too bad to get my stock adjusted perfectly. 50$ for the AR15 is a bit much for just 1 extra click. I don't have any issues with the AR15, but maybe I'll try the A5 stuff on this current build I'm doing. I don't know, i can see 10 clicks being useful on my AR10, but not so much on the little brothers. |
