Can an over gassed .308 AR cause inaccuracy? Like major pressure marks on the case head, cratered primers, ejector marks.

Over-pressure does not necessarily mean over-gassed.

I'm pretty sure it is over gassed. All the ammo I used was factory and showed no pressure signs in my bolt rifle or Scar 17. It cycled the Hornady 125g Lite with ease. That's a 125g load at the speed a normal 168-175g load would be going.

Differences in chamber dimensions can make the same ammo exhibit high pressure in one rifle and not in another.

(Think of shooting 5.56 NATO in one AR chambered for 5,56 and another chambered for .223....)
