Any standard mil spec buffer you want. It will run fine.

Adj Gas block should be a thought here -

I run a standard carbine buffer and it does fine.  I do think I need an adjustable gas block though because mine blows primers out every few rounds when suppressed.

I have a standard carbine buffer (2.9oz) on a 9" barrel with suppressor and I can't get it to feed the next round. I have to manually pull the handle back to load the next round EVERY time.

so.... sub'd

I've had great luck with an H2 buffer for a factory 12.5" barrel 300 blk AAC upper.

The round was designed around an h2 buffer, but many people, including myself, use a spikes t2.

This is my experience with running 300 blackout SBR's (mostly 8 inch barrels) so it might be different for you and others.

On piston builds I use only a carbine weight buffer (3.0 oz ) and mil spec spring. I have had an issue with H2 (4.7 oz) and H (3.8 oz) buffers on 300 blackout piston builds cycling subsonic rounds. I have had great success with the JP silent capture buffer with piston uppers. I highly recommend the JP silent capture! If you are going to only use a direct impingement upper , then things open up more to you. You can use everything from a carbine buffer (3.0 oz) upper to a H2 (4.7 oz). I would still only use a mil spec spring and avoid the heavy springs.  With DI everything was fine on cycling with or without the can on my 8 inch SBR's. Stick with a pistol length gas system.
