[ARCHIVED THREAD] - Aero m5 problems

Hello guys. I have a question. Have any of you had any issues with aero Precision? I have had a three ar15 sets with no issue. I figure aero has been good. I just received a m5 set and a lpk. The lpk is missing the front pin. I tried to pull the bolt catch screw and it's seized. It has anti seize. It won't move at all. I stopped before I messed anything up. I installed the upper with the rear pin and it has a gap. It looks well over .030. I called aero and they said send it to them. I shipped it to them and am hoping for the best. Who makes their lpk? The mag release is sketchy also. Have any of you had any good luck with their service dept? Thanks for the help.

I had to use their front and rear take down pins and have no issues with a gap.

I had to buy an extended mag release button off ebay for it to sit out far enough to engage it with me trigger finger easily.

Bolt catch no issues.

They have great products and I have had good dealings with their customer service. Only issue I had was my M5 LPK came without a selector. They offered to ship one but I had plenty.
