Any opinions on this extractor for 7.62x39?

Website link is for the merchant.  I could not find the product on manufacturers webpage.  Then again, Tactical Ordnance may refer to a dozen companies (and I am not that knowledgeable).

Reason for my asking, I have broken 2 PWS extractors.  I know they will send another, and I would like to have a couple in my range bag.

Op, Im sorry I have no comment on the extractor you are asking about.

However this concerns me as I have a new unfired PWS 7.62x39 upper.

Has PWS told you why their extractors are breaking ?

Have you looked into using a different bolt such as LMTs indistructable dual sprung extractor bolt ?

What was the round count on the broken extractors ?

I'll get pictures up,later this week.  I still have the broken extractors and I also have an lmt bolt for another upper.

PWS said they had quality control issues specifically with the extractors.  Why they sent me a second one that failed?  I don't know.  I've read many glowing posts of PWS, and I know they will make it right. Having 2 extractors fail does not instill a great deal of confidence.   I hate for this upper to be a range toy, never to be run hard. One extractor failed on the first shot (brand new upper).  The second extractor failed after 4 rounds.

They are now sending me a new complete bolt.  We will see.

The PWS bolt design is proprietary, so the lmt will not work.  The PWS extractor is not proprietary.  That's why I am looking for more extractors.

Sorry just got back to this thread.
I bought the PWS upper for the same reason based on their reputation and it being a long stroke piston system.

Ive built several DI 7.62x39 uppers using the LMT bolt and they have been perfect with the right mags.
I have recently heard of several PWS 7.62x39 extractors breaking.

I hope the new bolt fixes it for you please post back the results.

We bought three of the last run of 7.62x39 uppers so I'll be giving them a call on this.

I asked for and received a new bolt.  It's not compatible with my upper.  Meaning when correctly assembled in the bolt carrier, it does not go into battery.  I think I got a lemon.
