prices have gone down and funds have been better what recommendations do you have for an AR in the MOA or less category hoping to stay under 2 grand |

I'd second the Armalite complete rifle. I had a 20" A4 upper, and it shot very well. I never shot for tight groups, but how well it shot for me, i know i could've dialed it way down if i really tried and had a scope. This was with a non free floated barrel.
I shot with only irons, but it was extremely consistent. You can build a very nice rifle for under $2k. Just try to find all your furniture used and you'll do real good. People swap out hand guards and stocks all the time. Just gotta be ready to jump when you see it. |

It would be nice if it included a scope but I know that might not be possible Quoted:

Is this 2k before or after optics? It would be nice if it included a scope but I know that might not be possible I think it's possible. Aero M5 set from Schuyler Arms, fixed Magpul stock and budget FF rail with some very focused shopping on a good barrel and trigger and a Vortex scope. Smart shopping for the little parts and this will get you fairly close to the two grand mark. Maybe...or maybe I'm crazy... |
