| Has anyone used a linear compensator on a 308? or any rifle at all? I like the idea of it acting like a krink booster and redirecting sound more forward which could be useful if in an emergency situation I have to shoot without ear protection. How do they do with muzzle rise? |

I have the Troy Claymore on my M&P 10 and it offers very little recoil reduction.
Noise redirection... I use foam ear plugs when shooting the M&P 10 and have noticed that it is much more quiet on the trigger end of the rifle. I will find out in November if it is tolerable in the deer stand. Muzzle rise... it might help just a little with muzzle rise. I haven't really paid attention to it. |
