PSA had 6.8 fusions for 18.99 and runs free shipping regularly. It's a great bullet and a good all around load. I know it drops deer in its tracks It is a good load overall. Not bad for "factory" ammo. Also, the SSA 110gr ProHunter loads are quite good, plentiful and relatively inexpensive. |

AMMO Seek 315 various choices Gunbot 6.8 search 167 various choices I will update as the new American Eagle and Hornady offereings beging to hit shelves and online retailers. For the reloader RMR Bullets has primed new Federal brass currently. They are primed with the Federal GM205MAR primers. Primed Federal brass Wilson Combat Ammo Loaded to SPCII chamber only speeds. Sorry if I missed it what is the new Hornady Load? |

I have never been an ammo producer and I didn't sleep at a Holiday Inn Express last night, but there's something I don't understand.
Federal made an awesome round with the 6.8 GDHP. So why don't they make a FMJ equivalent in 90 grains? In fact, why don't companies make FMJ analogues (did I use that correctly?) of their best non-FMJ rounds? Hornady should have a 120 grain FMJ to plink for those who hunt with the 120 grain SST. Federal should have a 90 grain FMJ to plink for those who roll with the GDHP for duty or home defense. Just my opinion... |

Just my opinion... We have thru Bob of ATK interacting with us at the 6.8forums voiced similar thoughts. The 90 GD and 115 Fusions as components would be nice as well, they would likely be Speer labeled. Many told him they would like to see 100 grain and 120 grain offerings from them as well. Hornady with the 110 Vmax, 110 BTHP, 120 SST and now 100 GMX will be nice if the 100 GMX is also released as a component. |

Cabela's has the Remington 115 for 14.99 a box. It's OK plinking ammo, but it's always been way over priced at $22+ a box. At that price much better ammo was always a better, and often cheaper (SSA 115 for $19), alternative. Is Remington brass still large rifle primer? |

Yes it is, they are the only one still doing large primer. I actually like them for some loads, I get good speed and accuracy and the brass holds up well. |

I have some S&B with LRP too, I'm not sure if they've changed to SRP or not. |

It was more expensive than SSA and had LRP, so I never bought any more. But S&B is generally good stuff, and I never had any problems with it. May be time for a revisit. I liked having the option of both LRP and SRP during the panic when primers were scarce. |

You'd have to pay me $14.99 to shoot Remington in anything.
I had horrible experiences with .223 ( like having to break down and reload / crimp 30% of a case of them ), ,45acp, 9mm, and .40 being so nasty it gummed up guns that ate anything else, plus half of it was weak. .22lr that was so bad you were better of throwing it at squirrels. Now the SD stuff has always been good, but after all the crap in everything else they made I can't bring myself to trust them. |

Pretty darn anemic. The brass is good though. |

There is a guy selling ammo for the 6.8SPCII on Gunbroker under the name Ballastic Solutions.
The velocity he is listing has got to be false. There is no way he is getting the speeds he is listing from a 16 inch BHW barrel. Buyer please beware, if they are truly loaded that hot you could potentially get hurt. DO NOT fire these in an non SPCII chamber |
