I would like to install an A2 flash suppressor on my DPMS 16" upper.
With the crush washer, when you screw the suppressor onto the barrel, the suppressor locks up at about the 5 to 10 degree mark.
Does the crush washer have enough crush to allow the suppressor 350 degrees of travel or do I need to use some shims to rotate it back to about the 345 degree position?
Thanks

Never mind.
I found the answer somewhere else.

Grind the crush washer down to be able to index the flash suppressor.

Yep, I used a file one time to work one down so I only had to give it a 1/4 turn.
