I have ordered a 300BLK complete upper with a pistol length gas system on a 16" carbine barrel. I am wanting to start ordering parts to build the lower and am wondering if I can use a standard weight buffer for the pistol length system. This will be my first build. Thanks in advance for the help.

yes use a carbine buffer and spring . check kak industries they have the tube buffer and spring as a complete kit.

You might want to use a H2 buffer, that's what I was using on my 10.2" 300 blk before I got a SP silent spring.
