Now I just need to test it at the range.

I have been working on this rifle for going on 4 years now, and the last couple of parts arrived today.  I know it's not as fancy as some of the rifles out there, but this one was assembled by me (started out with just the stripped lower to begin with).

I am looking forward to seeing what kind of groups it is capable of.  Rainier Arms Select barrel, 1/11 twist, 5R rifling.  I picked up some 175 Sierra MatchKings to make a custom load for the rifle.

Nice! Tell us about it. What kind of barrel? Upper and lower?

To be honest, most is DPMS.  The upper, lower, BCG and handguard are all DPMS, as is the lower parts kit.  The Buttstock is a DPMS as well, but it is adjustable for length of pull.  The barrel is a Rainier Arms "Select" 20" barrel, 1/11 twist with 5R rifling.  The gas block is a Stag railed gas block.

Planned upgrades are an adjustable 2 stage trigger and KAC handguards (if I can find a custom barrel nut for the DPMS upper).

Nice looking build you have there! What is the name of the buttstock extension? I spent an entire day trying to find something for a 308 build but nothing ever had enough details to make me hit the buy button.

It is a DPMS adjustable A2 buttstock.  They do not have it listed as a replacement part on their website, though some of their rifles still come with it.  Try giving them a call and see if the will sell it by itself.

I picked mine up on the EE for $100'ish iirc, included the buffer tube, spacer, and screw.  At the Tim DPMS had it listed for about $400 I believe.  If I had to buy it on its own at full price I would probably purchase a KAC M110 adjustable butt stock for a tad more than $400.
