I've been piecing together a build for what feels like forever. I have a DPMS lower / receiver, JP handguard and brake. The only thing that I'm missing is a barrel.
I can't seem to find any 308 barrels in stock other than limited quanities of the Ranier line. I've had a 6.5 Creedmore or 260 Remington in the back of my mind for a while, but wanted to complete the 308 build first. (I have a 308 bolt gun, and I've done my best to consolidate calibers over the last 2 years.) Would love some advice, or pros vs cons on moving onto a different caliber. I know the 308 receiver works, does the Pmags work for other calibers as well? |
