Anyone here having issues with the bho on their LAR8?
I've got a 20" that the bolt hold open has failed on.  I've got an email into RRA to see what they can do.  Basically when I retract the bolt and engage the hold catch manually I can feel it seat but as soon as I let off the bolt releases.  It doesn't function at all manually, empty mag or last round.

Any ideas?

No issues with my LAR-8, it locks back manually or with empty mags

Interested to learn more about what is causing your bolt to not lock open.  I am confident RRA will provide a solution.

The human interface with the RRA BHO is one of the best designs ever to come along for the AR, I just wish it was on the AR15.

As far as the mechanics of it, It's been a long time since I broke one down and looked at how it articulates with other components, the construction of the BHO as to ruggedness, and so forth.

OP:  Have you been shooting suppressed?

No don't own a suppressor and the rifle has less than 100rds fired.  It's always worked before which is why I'm a little perplexed why it isn't working know.
Here are some pics I posted in the industry forum.

Disregard, after taking a closer look I started looking at the Magpul PRS stock i recently installed. When I installed it I used a spacer and the bolt that came with the spacer.  The bolt ended up causing interference and didn't allow the bolt carrier to go back far enough to engage the hold open.  I was actually able to install the PRS stock without the spacer.  I used the Magpul vented bolt and trimmed off about 3/4".  Now I'm functioning 100% and able to install the stock with no spacer and no trimming of the cheek piece.

Tomorrows a range day so ill know for sure everything is functioning properly.
