I received a stripped DPMS .308 lower for Christmas. Now I need to
Get parts to build an AR10. I heard only a DPMS upper will fit it. True or false? Do I have to get AR10 specific LPK's, buffer tube & forearm? Any help would be appreciated! |

Not an expert, but I can help a little.
Take a look at an Armalite upper and you will see why they don't fit your lower. I also think that Armalite barrels will not fit. What you have is an LR308, not an 'AR10'. There is a distinction. Look for parts that will accommodate the LR308 configuration. As for parts, I think most mil-spec AR-15 part kits will work. |
