I'm in the process of putting together a little 6.8 hunter carbine.  I'm working on the lower now and will get an upper a little later.  For the upper, I'll probably be looking to PSA for a 16" mid length.

Should I use a standard tube / H buffer?

What's the best deal going on quality magazines for 6.8 these days?

Thank you.

PSA is running a sale on 6.8 mags now. Unless they're sold out already

C Products  Defense mags
buffer depends on how the barrel is ported, if it is overgassed then a H o H2 could help.

I have run standard and H2 buffers in my 6.8s, both ran fine.

For mags, the new CPDs, hands down.

Thank you for the responses.  I once owned a 6.8 years ago...but I see its world has changed since 2009.  I appreciate the help.
