I am ordering a Bushy ORC as my first 308 cal. AR15. As such, have a real newb question: Can I install stocks made for the standard 223 on the buffer tube?.....In other words, is the size of the buffer tubes on the 308 ARs the same as standard 223 AR's???......Also, are the front handgaurds different? I am assumming you need rails specific for a 308 AR??....Lastly, any thoughts on the Bushmaster ORC 308 would be appreciated....I'm new to this caliber in this platform. Thanks

Stocks are interchangeable w ar-15

Handguards are not interchangeable w ar-15

The ORC comes with a commercial spec buffer tube, so you would need a stock made for that. Also, the Magpul MOE handguard will fit on the .308 ORC. The rifle is a heck of a value.

Howabout standard AR triggers? Can I put an aftermarket trigger like a Giesselle or a Jard into the rifle?

Yes, and I would recommend it. An SSA-E is going into mine. I am not sure about the Jard.
