Yes,the dreaded Hesse  How do you tell what uppers the hesse lowers are compatible with(Amalite or DPMS type)?Angle cut is Armalite?

Hesse has its own upper. If you try to mount an Armalite upper, you'll find it doesn't function. The magazine stops in the front corners of the upper prevent a magazine from seating and the front of the Armalite upper overhangs the Hesse mag well. The overhang catches the noses of bullets in the magazine and prevents them from feeding. |
