Just bought one. Love it! It is about 3.5lbs lighter than my last DPMS build with a 20" Fulton Barrel. It is just as accurate if not more with the 16" barrel. The recoil impulse of the piston is different than the DI system. Much lighter and more of a push than a hit. My 14 YO son shoots the crap out of it. It loves 168 and 178g Amax's and BTHP's.
I had read about some earlier problems with carrier tilt but the new models have the anti-tilt buffer tube which is supposed to fix this. I have around 300 rounds through mine and no sign of wear. Overall quality stuff and sexy as get out. I'll be keeping this one. |
Realy like my POF 308. Unfortunately only had the chance to run about 200 rounds through it but it has been flawless.
Running low profile Troy flips on it now. Need to get the Blackout flashhider mounted on it and test out the can. Expect it to run with suppressed with subs like this video demonstrates: POF 308 WITH AAC SDN6 Shooting Subsonic For the most part you will find favorable reviews of POF and their customer support if needed.
