Of all the piston 308 offerings out there the Sig 716 is a great deal. I just bought one after looking at several others. The fit and finish is spectactular. I was able to get a 1.25" five shot group at 100yds using 168gr match and hand loads. The workmanship is outstanding on this gun. Have a friend with a SCAR and after we shot the 716 he said he wanted one himself.  uses Pmags 20 rnd 308 and standard Ar15 trigger parts. I shot a POF lsat week and the Sig felt better. Not as pretty as the POPF but it feels and shoots solid.

Can you post some pics?  I just discovered the SIG exists and would like to learn more.  I was waiting for a Colt LE901 but the SIG may be a cheaper and available alternative.

The trigger is good and I'm about to install a rock river match trigger in it. So nice to be able to use any AR15 trigger I want.

Aren't most AR308 platforms AR15 trigger compatible?
