I have a new AA 16" mid-length rifle and am currently running a Spikes ST-T2 buffer. The rifle exhibits all of the classic symptoms of being over-gassed. I have a 9mm buffer without a home and was wondering if there was any reason I should not try it in my Grendel. Thanks. |

Quoted: From what I have read, try the H3 buffer or switch to a rifle buffer. Also, an adjustable gas block might help as well. I am well aware of those options. The question is, can I use the 9mm buffer I already have. AA recommends against a 9mm buffer in their FAQ, but I can't see a reason why when so many others have run a 9mm buffer in their AR variants over the years. |

No deadblow effect as with a conventional buffer. Not recommended for Grendel.
9mm Buffer for Grendel ? |
