Ok Ive read most of the threads on 300 BLK but I have a question still. When purchasing a barrel when one is finally off back order, do I get a regular .308 lo-pro gas block or what?
Thanks for the help, Im new to the 300 BLk but Its my coming home present next year and I want to have as much of the parts for when I get back. |
| No use a regular AR-15 gas block, all the parts the same as the standard AR-15 except for the barrel. I would actually recommend getting the PRI adjustable gas block for 300BLK since I had to tune mine with this caliber to get it to run right with both subsonic and supersonic ammo. Also note that most 300BLK barrels use the pistol length gas tube, but some do use the carbine length gas tube. |

I saw the difference with the gas system lenghts. Ive gotten on a list for a CMMG barrel for about 200 that has a carbine length gas system. Does the lenght make a difference in performance or no? > 15.9 carbine. Less use a pistol. In English please.
