6mm AR Turbo, 6.5 Grendel necked down to 6mm. 20'' Krieger barrel, Magpul PRS, Daniel Defense lower, Jard sigle stage 3lb trigger and a Vortex Viper 6.5x20x 50 scope.
I shoot 75gr Vmax , 87gr Vmax and 105 Amax. Here it is dialing it in at 500 yards.

Yes, that is in AWESOME

Thanks for sharing.

What is the heaviest and slickest BC bullets you have used?  The 105 Amax I'm sure is slick, I'm going to go look at the BC now.

Again, excellent group at 500!!!!!

Dude.  That is sick.  That's a .37 MOA group at 500yds, with 5 rounds.  What velocity are you getting?

2930-40 fps! with105's ,with 75's 3350 and with 87's 3225-30 fps. I shot that 500 yard group with the 105's .
I am dialing in some 87's right now I will give a report in the near future. Thanks

Are you sure about those numbers?  Those are in 6 Dasher territory, I'd be very impressed if they are real.  Please tell about the load you are using.   I've got about 4000 rounds on 2 different Turbo 40 uppers and have not seen anything close to numbers like that. Realistic loads in both of mine are closer to 2800 fps for 105-107 class bullets, 2850 results in high pressure and worn out primer pockets after 2 firings.  Also, mine are 26" barrels, as opposed to your 20".

I agree it's a great round and would argue that there is no better cartridge for NRA Highpower competition, but would love to hear how you are reaching those speeds.

Thanks,
Erik

I am using 30.1 gr of Reloader 15 and the closest spread is 9 fps between 2925 and 2934 fps for the 105's
I have seen a high of 2940 with a low being 2930. This is with my 24'' Krieger barrel and with my hunting 20''
I am seeing a 75-100 fps slower. I am working multiple loads using H335,H322, H4895 and Reloader 15. I am still in
the developmental stages with 87 vmax and the 75 vmax ,working the oal on each and powder drops. I am not going
to get to technical because I am not a bench rest shooter. I just like to shoot precision groups at long range from
a prone position for my hunting purposes.

What bolt are you using?  Those are crazy velocities!  I thought 6mm AR was a 2800-2850fps cartridge in the 28" barrels with the 100gr class.

My 243LBC is getting 2800 fps with 100gr out of a 20'' barrel, but he is shooting the 6mm AR Turbo, which has the shoulder blown forward and angle change to 40 degrees, so it has several grains more powder capacity than the 243LBC or the 6mm AR.

His numbers sound a touch high, but then again everybody keeps telling me I should not be getting 2800 fps with 100 grainers in my 20'' 243LBC, but I am with no pressure signs.

Sweet looking fire stick, it will be a pig and deer hammer.
