Have the Nightforce NXS 3.5-15x50 with NPR-1 reticle mounted in the LaRue LT-110.  It is a VERY fine reticle in MOA, but I like it.

An ACOG or a 1-4 scope on carbine length 7.62 AR's.  A full size scope needs a rifle length AR.  Just personal preference.

acog would be best..  I had a eotec with the 308 cal on order, until it was way back ordered. I sighted it in with a matech rear sight and its dead nuts way out to 500 yards.. Just canceled the eotec order.

You really need to give a price range... or we can REALLY spend your money!

I have the Trijicon TR20G.  Although I haven't had the opportunity to test it out on medium and long range targets, it works great within 100 yards, with quick target acquisition.

The reticle is actually razor sharp, but doesn't reflect it in this photo because I made no attempt to adjust for daylight.  But even at it's lowest power setting, the magnification is excellent.

I had an accupoint on mine.  I was impressed in every way except for shots past 300 or so.  I really wanted a BDC for that....enter the ACOG.  I won't be punching small groups, but I'd feel confident on a human sized target out to 600+.
