I absolutely love the 8" Noveske barrel.  It shoots as expected. Accurate, and functions flawlessly with subs and supers, both suppressed and unsurpassed.
The only downside, is no SBR in Michigan, so it stays a pistol until we can get that "fixed" in our legislature.

Cool I was looking at the 8" or 10" noveske but didn't know how much room you needed on the end between the hand guard and end of barrel to fit a can..

What do you think of the Leatherwood CMR scope? does that model have the "camputer" ability?  Haven't checked recently

Fuuuu.  I have to follow Stickman.
(Love your work man.)

Picked up a 9" 300BLK upper.  Threw it on my SBR lower and threw on some optics. (Yes, 3x9 are overkill for a SBR.)

Overall the accuracy was very good at 50 yards.

Rails come in next week and I"ll start the paperwork for a 7.62 can in April.

The rifle is a 16" Noveske and the pistol is a 11.3" Wilson.

Thanks!  I assume the rail is the 11" VTAC then?  Looks like it would make a nice flush fit with the can.  I'm leaning towards a 9" Troy TRX extreme with a 9.5" barrel, so will have a similar fit.

Yep, 11" VTAC. I'll need to remove just a little material on the inside so that my 7.62 YHM QD fits. Just another month or so now.

Still waiting for the LAR upper and Spikes BAR rail. Just wanted to test fire the barrel before sending it off for bead blasting while I wait.

Put it together and it was just a beautiful first five shots.  No adjustments whatsoever.

Good.  Will see how is does with subs and the drops once I have it the way I want it.  I do want a vattail for it though.  Really like the brightness controls and them being off every other position.

How do you like having the can under the rail? Do you shoot it without the suppressor like that?

Thanks

Shot it both ways.  The QD mount will direct some of out to the handguard but nothing to destroy it.  Only time it will be shot without will be during load development.

It's a Special Weapons Systems rail that Noveske puts on some of their rifles.  Very rugged, but heavier than most.  The balance of the rifle is very good however.

Old school Noveske 10.5" 300FB

This rifle has accounted for a truck load of subsonic ground hogs, out to about 325 yds, and several sub and supersonic deer to 150 yds.

Noveske 8"?

Midway had them earlier this week––mine will be here tomorrow  I should have a LaRue upper receiver and rail here tomorrow, too.  I'm just wondering if the LaRue parts will spontaneously combust when I mount the Noveske barrel and AAC 51T Blackout...

I got mine straight from Novekse, they were the only ones that had one when I was looking for it. It showed up at the house and is waiting for me when I get home Then my 7" BAR Rail will be here Friday!!!!

With all luck I'll be able to shoot it on Saturday!

I'll get some better pictures soon.  I got this assembled tonight.  I had to swap the mount out for the older style on my 700––the new one put the can into the rail but the older one works beautifully.

Upper is a LaRue receiver & BCG, BCM Gunfighter CH, Noveske 8", Blackout, and 762SDN6

Yes.  I had to cut and sand the rail cover to get it the length I wanted.  It worked out great.
