What is general feeling about their uppers?
It seems most people like them, and i am flirting with the idea of just buying one of their 6.8 or 6.5g uppers, specifically the 16" 6.8x43 classic, and then just putting a troy rail i have laying around on it I e-mailed them and got a quick response, just like to hear how good they are from other people to make me feel comfortable in spending that much money, even though it's not that much compared to a lot of peoples rigs, it is to me. |

They make awesome 5.56 products as well. I've purchased at least 4 nitro-carburized 5.56 pipes from them, the QD sockets for the Troy TRX Extreme handguards, and super bolts. Pricing is great, and the nitro-carburized pipes eat everything I stuff in them, without a malf so far. I still have several of their barrels that have yet to be installed, but I couldn't beat the price on them. I even got a special deal on a MLGS 16" SOCOM barrel with fluting for like $180.
I'm getting ready to do one of the Front Sight Pocket Cut Model R0727's using the remaining M4 barrel I got from ARP...great people to deal with too. I just wish H would start making Grendel super bolts and barrel combos, now that the Grendel chamber is SAAMI spec'd and released. |

The only chamber that eats the factory 6.5 Grendel and .264 LBC is a Grendel chamber, with the .300 neck, so I guess that's what he'll have to use. The Grendel chamber handles a broad set of projectile ogives as well, from 95gr VMAX up to 129gr SST, 130 Scirocco's, 123gr Scenars, and some guys are even getting surprising results with 139gr Scenars out of 24" pipes at 2400fps.
AR Performance is one of the top sources in my bookmarks for barrels. |

Honestly, I wouldn't buy even flyswatters from this guy. He is childish and not completely honest. Note his responses on his industry forums thread when confronted about his false 300 BLK post-
http://www.ar15.com/forums/t_2_364/207607_.html&page=1 Pay special attention to his editing of other members posts. The 6.8 barrel I bought from him a couple of years ago did not have the gas block drilled in the correct location and I had to modify my gas block for it to cycle properly. It worked fine after that. My issue with him is not that barrel as much is his dishonesty about the 300 AAC Blackout cartridge and his reactions toward anyone that disagrees with him. Maybe your barrel will be just fine from him but if I had it to do over again I'd buy it from someone else. Bison Armory may be a better option for 6.8- http://www.bisonarmory.com/barrelstore.htm Others such as Wilson Combat, White Oak Armament, and Black Hole Weaponry are good options as well. |

I have never bought a complete upper from them but I have bought several of their barrel/super bolt combos. Excellent product and good customer service. Same here, I've bought both 6.8 & 7.62x39 barrel combos from them, and the product has been exceptional. I wish they would do a 5.45 barrel. |
