Im kinda new to the .308 AR game, so I have a question about triggers. I have a Remington R25 (yes I know it a re-tagged DPMS) and I was wondering if a trigger groug from a 5.56 rifle would work, or do I need a dedicated .308/7.62 trigger..
Im wanting to install a RRA two stage. Any advise or helpful hints? |
| Love my Wilson Combat single stage. It is 1 piece so its super easy to put in or take out. All of their offerings work for both 5.56 and .308 AR's. Be prepared for a hefty price though. They have 2 different weight single stages, a 2 stage, and one of those 3 gun triggers everyone is making now. Geissele triggers will also work for your .308 |

My Vote is for the Geissele Super Semi Automatic (SSA) Combat Trigger
Note the QC and the mission in Bills presentation at about 1:20 Into the Vid... http://youtu.be/QY5ns6FM0ME We are running 4 at the Range with plans to order more, They are used on Fulton Far-308s and we use the .308 version with stiffer springs. I only have experience with standard trigger groups and the Rock River 2 stage national match trigger group. The Rock River 2 stage trigger spoiled me and now I have them in all my ARs.
I've never tried any of the $200-$300 triggers, but if I did I'm sure I would be even more spoiled A decent trigger is well worth it. |
