| Anyone have experience with any of these? If so, what did you think of it? |

The new bushy or the old bushy? The new ones are DPMS pattern, and the old ones are RRA pattern.
I haven't seen one of the new ones yet, but still own one of the old ones. Mine has been a little bit finicky about which magazines it likes, but once I found some good magazines it has been outstanding. I did have to send it back to Bushmaster for the bolt and charging handle upgrade after I bought it though. If it's actually listed for sale as an ORC 308, it's got to be one of the newer ones, which is just a DPMS with a different roll mark. |

One thing being that the orc's lowers take AR15 trigger guards, so you can use MIAD or MOE extended trigger guards whereas dpms lowers in .308 cannot use AR15 trigger guards of any type. |

CA_TX-Cop, what bolt carrier upgrade do you speak of?
I just got an old Bushy 308 that takes FAL mags, serial #2125 I called bushmaster and they had no clue about any upgrades or fixes for bolt or carrier? I am aware of the cocking handle issue. When did you send yours back for the rework? Thanks! Sorry for the thread drift. |
