I have a DPMS lower already. I need to figure out what kind of upper to build/buy to finish it off.
I want to be able to should out to 600 yards or so. Here are my main criteria: 1) Price - Upper needs to be about $1000 NOT including the optics 2) Range - Want to shoot out to 600 yards accurately but I'm not going to be in any long range shooting competitions 3) Reliability - I want something I know I can count on not to have jams/issues 4) Use - I will use this out at the range for general shooting out to 600 yards, I also want to use it for hunting deer, etc Let me know what you would do to finish out this rifle.
