anyone have experience with one of these?

They're not available yet.

I CAN tell you I'm happy with my modified Bushmaster ORC, which is essentially the same gun with a shaved FSB. I modded mine to be very similar to the MOE 308.

Same 308 AR as a DPMS. For 1499 you can get a DPMS MK12 308 similarily equipped but with a FF rail at RGuns.net.

The Mk12 is 2lbs heavier and uses a 416 stainless barrel. The Bushmaster uses a 4150CMV chrome lined barrel. My ORC was about $1070, plus a few $$ for the handguard, grip, and FSB.

I'll take the Bushmaster over the DPMS...

Just curious when chrome lining was more durable than stainless?

Depends on what type of stainless, but overall hard chrome is more durable.

Stainless is soft.  It is generally more accurate but with a shorter life.  Chrome not only is corrosion resistant, but is very hard, giving it a longer life.

What is the take down and cleaning like?

Just like any other AR, except the parts are a bit bigger...

Also runs like any other AR: keep it lubed, no need for white-glove cleanliness.

It's generally true.

I would say to think of it in relative terms:  you wouldn't want to use a match stainless barrel as a burner barrel, and you wouldn't hope to get great consistency out of an inconsistent process like chrome lining.

While they are two methods of making barrels intended for different purposes, I would go out on a limb and say that most shooters either couldn't tell the difference when shooting them, or their shooting schedules don't demand such an advantage in durability or accuracy to tell the difference.

What's the round count expectancy of a Noveske or Krieger match barrel?

What's the round count expectancy of an rack grade Colt barrel?

Most button rifled stainless barrels are only about 20-24 Rockwell C.  Hammer forged stainless barrels can be 35RC or a little harder for 415 stainless.  Hard Chrome is 60-65RC or a little more.
Brinnell hardness rating for 304 stainless is 250 vs 1000 Brinnell for Hard Chrome.
