Is anyone running one or have info on them? Looking for velocities and barrel lengths. I'm trying to figure out if I can get a 162 amax going ~2600 fps out of good 20-22" 5r or polygonal rifled barrel at 2.82 oal.

I had a 20" 7mm-08 bolt action savage that I got 2600 out of at 2.9" col with the 162 amax.
That was with H4895 and rem brass which is not ideal. Load win brass and use RL17 and you should be able to get 2600 fps or more at 2.82. DRT'd a 250# boar hog at 300 yards with that rig. |
