Ive read the .308 FAQ section but i have a question,

I want to use a UBR stock in this build. I know I need an Armalite Carbine buffer
but do i also need an CAR spring too or can i just get the Armalite AR-10 spring??

The Armalite 308 Carbine buffer and spring are for a 308 Carbine buffer tube (not the same as AR-15 buffer tube)

In order to run a AR-15 buffer tube (such as a UBR) you need a special buffer and a modded spring

both available here from Slash

I have the CAR-10 buffer in my 308 AR (and moddded spring for that matter too). I also run a UBR. The buffer from Slash (heavybuffers.com) is very high quality. Great company/person to deal with.
