Can anyone tell me the answer to this question. Will I cause any damage to a 7.62 x 39 upper if I use an A2 stock w/rifle .308 spring and buffer? How would it affect felt recoil?

I don't think it would damage the rifle. The question is if it will work. You could try it and see how it functions. My guess is it won't cycle properly, most likely it will short stroke in a big way.
