Sorry for this being long but I need some help.
First off rifle is a mid-length lar-8 I brought the rifle home to sight it in this weekend. Before I did I put a new stock on the weapon, Magpul ACS. When I made this switch I put a mil spec tube on the weapon. I was told I did not have to switch the spring that they were the same size ( between a commerical and mil-spec) which I now know is false. So to the problem, I went shooting today and fired the first shot, after this it did not load the next shell, I though maybe it was cold or some crazy one time flaw, but no it did it for 5 rounds. So I came home a switched the spring from another rifle that I have ( milspec) and went out to shoot, same problem. Now I can see what the problem is. The bolt is not going back far enough to catch the shell to load it. Is there anyone who can tell me what I need to do? I would really appriciate it. |

Thank you. i would really like to get this up and running by tomorrow.
i went from a car 6 position, to a 6 positsion acs. when i first shot it i used the spring and buffer that it came with. then when that did not work i tryed it with the mil spec spring and the buffer that it came with, when that did not work i tryed it with milspec spring and a buffer from an ar15, same height, but the ar15 is skinnier. hope that helps |
