Very nice. You will enjoy it. I hope to add a 14.5" POF to my collection in the near future. Would love to hear your feedback once you get it to the range. I finally ran my 16" Recon a few weeks ago. Tweaked the stock and grip. 200 flawless rounds through 10 different PMAGs. No drama here. http://media.ar15.com/media/viewFile.html?i=24473 BTW...Nice LaRue collection you have there.
Enjoy! - Joe That is a thing of beauty! BLACK BEAUTY! |
| My first .308 purchase will probably be a POF rifle. So far from what I've seen with all the other manufacturers, the POF offers the most features for the least price. I want one with the new rail though so I'm going to wait it out until next year. I wish they made 18" barrels though I'm stuck deciding between a 16" or a 20"... |

I agree, 18" barrel would be absolutely perfect! |

Nice rifles guys! The POF's sure rock! Well I got the rifle all broken in and I threw my Leupold Mark 4 Tactical 4.5x14.50 on her to try get an accuracy measure. POF says under an inch MOA and with a sold rest I got slightly over half inch groups at 100 yards. My first groups were a little over an inch but it was damn cold. I had a completely cleaned and oiled barrel. But she settled in nicely.
I put the Mark 4 back onto its home on the M1A and put my Aimpoint ML3 on her and fired some rounds downrange. This rifle purrrs like a kitty and she is accurate. Recoil surprisingly quite manageable. I picked up 10 PMAG 20 round mags and fully loaded them to capacity and the rifle ate up 150some rounds in little time. Just got my rifle all cleaned up again and oiled. Next step is off to Cabela's to pick up some more ammo. I have numerous AR's but this one will be my primary CQT/long range self defense weapon. I am going to outfit her with the AGOG 3.5x35 TA011 with 7.62 reticle green crosshair reticle for that role. More pics soon! |
