Well I went to the range late afternoon today. I put my Primary Arms budget scope on tell I get my IOR Valada 1.5x8. I ran down the 100yd range
hung up my 2 targets up. My heart was pounding range was gonna close@ dusk. I fired 10 shots @ the left target 1st. I looked the through the spotting scope and was disappointed.I realized I had not even cleaned the barrel since I built it I cleaned it real fast waited about 5minutes and got my breathing/heart calm as much time as I had before dusk. I shot the group on the right target last.I measured my trigger pull #'s and it was 5.5lb. It is a JT so I adjusted it down to 3.5lbs a few minutes ago. And the BABC is just amazing ...real pleasant to shoot.

Nice rifle! How do you like that RA rail? Thinking of trading my DD Lite 12 for that rail... I need QD sling swivel sockets f/r... my samson rails comes in tomorrow. i will give a full writeup on it. i think panther said his was coming in today. Yes, an update would be much appreciated.. |
| I went to the range today again wind was gusting up to 20mph so I didn't shoot my MA/Ten. As far as the rail i have only shot from the bench and put my blue force sling on the qd sockets. Hopefully the wind is better in the am. My buddies MA/Ten parts came in about 2hours ago UPS and no gas tube pin from Rainier Arms:(:(:( just like what happened to me last friday night. So we are gonna rob another gas tube roll from pin one of my AR's so we can finish the build tonight. I will post of John Lee's build later. |

| Well that explains it we did not get our gas blocks from you. But a Vltor tech was reading the forum and sent us 2 gas block roll pins. I shot my ma/ten a few hours ago great shooter for the 2nd time to the range I will post pics later. I'm waiting on John Lee to get to my shop and we are going to build his ma/ten tonite and all his parts except the gas block came from Rainier Arms also:):) |
