How does the LMT 308 stack up against the KAC SR-25? From a quality/reliability standpoint does the KAC offer that much more than the LMT?
Anyone had a negative experience with the LMT 308?

I can tell you that the sr 25 carbine is just awesome. I don't know much about lmt but kac is a great company and great product. Just a little spendy though.

I have the LMT, and I really like it. I affectionally refer to it around the ranch as my "ultimate weapon." I have no basis for comparison with the KAC. Though, I just don't see how the KAC could make me $2500 happier.

I love my LMT
The SR-25 is a great rifle, but just too much cash for me, after buying a semi auto Barret 50 BMG the wife sorta frowns on another $7k rifle.
If you have the disposable income I would get the KAC rifle, if not get the LMT.

I'm sure most on here would agree that the LMT is probably the best deal for your money out there.
KAC is top-of-the-line, but they're mainly a DOD manufacturer, and their price reflects that. IOW, they dont have to sell to civilians.
