Not much has been discussed about it around here from what I can find.
Anybody see any downside to the 300 OSSM? Mag capacity of course is the first thing that comes to mind, then parts. What else am I not seeing? Plan on using the rifle for hunting primarily and maybe a sniper match on rare occasion. Looks like the published data on the OSSM is correct and hand loaders are getting the claimed speeds. Looks like OLY and only two other folks are allowed to sell complete uppers (no parts) that I can find. Is there anyway to buy just the bolt/barrel for this caliber that I am not finding? |

If your after an Elk, or Bear upper this duplicates the 30/06 and then some. |
