I was looking into purchasing the new Bushmaster .308 ORC. I would like to replace the hand-guard with a rail type hand-guard. Does anyone know if the normal rails you buy for ar-15 will fit? Thanks in advance
edit: just found a daniel defense rail (7.62 Lite Rail 9.0 - Midlength)....will this work? |

I called Daniel defense and they answered my questions. Great customer service by the way.....
They said any of the rails that fit the 7.62 DPMS will fit on the Bushmaster ORC .308. He told me the 7.62 9.0 Lite Rail would come up to just behind the gas block and the 12" rail would cover it. I hope ya'll find this info useful. |
| That Bushmaster would be a good buy, i have it and recommend it to anybody. If your looking to showboat, get a LMT OR LWRC or something along those lines. If your looking for a solid 7.62x51 lead launcher that will do about the same for half the price, get the bushy. |
