They do not have m4 ramps which can cause problems with feeding, because of the larger diameter of the 6.8 the bullet tip sits lower in the mag.

I have had 2 and both ran fine with sierra 110 prohunters from SSA

Why couldn't one just demel some feed ramps into that sucker? They have the newer chamed and rate of twist so I wonder why no M4 feed ramps?

Do they have the new twist rate?

Yes they have the new twist rate and the SPC II chamber. The one I had shot great with every brand of ammo I ran through it. Had no issues due to lack of feed ramps. If you get one, shoot it and see if it has issues. If it does Stag will fix it. Mine shot just about every load under an inch at 100 yards. A friend has it now and has had zero issues with it as well.

My first 68 or one of my first was an older stag 68 and it runs fine, still have it to this day.

For the money they are a good 6.8 SPC upper.

I have an older Stag 1/10 6.8SPC carbine I use for a patrol carbine. I have had some feeding problems with PRI mags, but none to date with CProduct 25rd. It shoots great, and I only get swipes with the hotter loads.
