ok guys i took my 20 inch lar out for a spin today . I topped it off with a weaver 3x10x40 tactical with resetable target knobs the ammo I was shooting was 147 grain fmj boat tail sitting on top of 40 grains of 3031 primed with remington large rifle primers . I zeroed pretty quick and moved over to the 300 yd line . the scope is a mil/mil reticule and it took some studying and a few rounds to figure out my come up was .6 mils so i fired a 4 shot group at the chest and one at the head of a standard police target and ended up with the distance between the 2 farthest apart shots being 4 1/4 inches . I know the load I was using is not the best in the world since I didnt have any info on 147 grain bullets and used data for a 150 grain load . yes I know the cheap ass handguard isnt helping anything , I am waiiting on rra to release there free float rail which should help alot , so in the mean time do you have any suggestions for a good hunting/target load. here are some pics just to prove its real.
please notice I couldnt get a picture with my toes included but did manage to snap a crappy cell phone photo with my thumb over the lense

Use JP hanguards. I use 44 grains of Varget with 175 grains SMK (2.800 OAL). Use at your own risk.
