Are there any left handed shooters our there that use the ar50 and how have you acclimated to the right handed setup? Thanks

I have talked to the folks at ArmaLite... and they had said at one time that if they get enough of an interest in they would produce the AR-50L again.

The best thing you could do is to send them an email showing your interest in the left handed 50.

Unless I plan on shooting offhand, I prefer a right handed bolt rifle. I'm left handed. With a right handed rifle fired left handed, you never have to remove your strong hand from its position and your weak hand isn't doing anything anyway so you may as well use it to work the bolt. With a really long bolt pull your face might get in the way but it would do the same regardless of which way you are shooting.

Well I got word and found out that they might be doing a run sometime starting in October, so look for them in Jan time frame.
