Possible –– yes. ... and I would think just about any quality gunsmith can do it.
I have heard that some have had problems with trying to run 300 WSM through an AR though. It is just a tad longer than the 300 RSAUM which works fine. That will limit what you can do with it in terms of OAL. I think that I have heard that some folks who have tried to chamber an AR with 300 WSM have experienced feeding issues too. While ammunition availability is a bigger issue for the 300 RSAUM, I would go with it rather than 300 WSM. |
