| Ok going elk hunting this year with me .308 dpms and was wanting a lighter trigger pull than the factor..i know about bill springfeild but would probably just spend the extra cash on a drop in. was wondering if the rra match 2-stage would fit this rifle? and if its a decent trigger system. wont be doing any match shooting but still am used to 2 stage triggers. Thanks for any advice given. |

You will have to do a little grinding on the hammer if you want the RR trigger to work in your DPMS 308 That should not be true any more. RRA redesinged their hammer to be more compatable with the larger .308 carrier. Even with the orignal NM 2-stage hammer, less than half needed a little stone work. |

I have the AR-15 3# Timney in mine and I love it. I only had a couple light strikes with some SA battle pack ammo. If using surplus ammo, then re-use your factory .308 hammer spring to avoid light strikes common with upgraded AR15 triggers. My SASS came with a JP single stage trigger, but DPMS used their hammer spring. |
