You will really enjoy this cartridge. A friend got me started on the cartridge...I got a 24 inch Alexander Arms overwatch and was so impressed I soon built an 18 inch rifle. That rifle shoots GREAT.
I have to shoot left handed as I had shoulder surgery recently, so yesterday, after shooting about 130 rounds while the rifle was dirty, and hot enough for mirage to be an issue, I finished up with a 5 shot group at 200 yards measuring 1.5 inches..and here is the best part.. I was using a scope that cost about $30.00 (not $300.00), it was the cheapest Bushnell made, off a prize table. Imagine how it could shoot with a nice scope, clean barrel, no mirage, and off my good side...neato! The point is that you will really be pleasantly surprised with your rifle. |
