I need an extractor for my AR15 65 Grendel.
Who has them?

The Grendel uses a 7.62 X 39 bolt IIRC.

AR15 performance has them..and the customer service is outstanding!  I bought an enhanced Grendel bolt and found that after I had it headspaced to meet a Lothar Walther barrel, it was .002 tighter than the headspace on my other Grendel.  Also, the inside diameter was .002 tighter than on the Grendel bolt that had a different extraction/ejection cycle.   They said send back the bolt and they did both modifications perfectly, and FREE!!  I got the bolt back about a week after I sent it.

The work was done perfectly, quickly, and best of all FREE with no griping, bitching, or whining or complaining that I am simply a picky customer.  (By the way, I don't work for them, or have any financial interest in the company...I'm just another gun guy who bought parts from an internet vendor)

That depends on the chamber. The 6.5 Grendel OEM uses a 7.62x39 bolt with a deeper recessed bolt face(about 0.011" IIRC) than the stock 7.62x39 bolt. The 6.5 CSS up until now use the standard bolt face. I think he may need a different extractor than the stock one. Since the bolt face is deeper, I'd think the extractor would need to fit that length?

I just spoke to a very nice lady at ar15performance and this is what I came up with:

1. ar15performance will sell complete bolts but no small parts (extractors).
2. ar15performance uses STANDARD extractors on all bolts.
3. ar15performance buys only one type of extractor, a .223 extractor, which is used in all bolts.

I was surprised by the answers, thinking that different extractor grooves (.223, 6.8mm, 7.62X39, 9mm) would require different extractors and I kept asking questions to remove all doubt and error.

The good news is that AR15Performance is in the final phases of testing the improved bolt (.473 boltface) and barrel extension for the AR15.
Once ready, this innovation will allow higher pressures on the 6.5 Grendel or better yet, the added powder capacity of the 6.5 BRX.

Hoora for American ingenuity.
